Questions
What is a trunk-or-treat?
Instead of going door to door, families decorate their cars and hand out candy from the trunk in a parking lot. They're usually free, are often run by churches and schools, and are an easy option for little kids.
When do trick-or-treat events happen in SWFL?
Most are in the week or two before Halloween, often on the weekend before October 31, with others on Halloween night itself.
Are trunk-or-treats free?
Nearly all are free. Some ask for a canned-food donation or charge for extras like food or bounce houses. Free ones are marked "Free" or "Free Entry" on their listing.
How do I get my trunk-or-treat listed?
Send it in on our Submit an event page. It's free, and we review every submission before it goes up.
