Join Lee County Library staff for stories, songs and a craft in the Children's Garden. This program welcomes infants through 5 years old, with adults required to stay with their children. Bring a chair or blanket for comfort. Sessions run from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Park parking fees apply; the program itself is free. Cancellations due to weather are announced on the Facebook page.

Lakes Park Fall Festival

A multi-week fall festival featuring a Halloween Express Train Ride, Scarecrows in the Park display in the Children's Garden, and a Pumpkin Patch. Train rides run M-F 10am-2pm and 6-9pm, Sat-Sun 10am-9pm; scarecrows and pumpkins Th-F 6-9pm, Sat-Sun 10am-9pm.
